The author gives a little background on each person that touched Garcia’s life and where they fit into the scheme of the whole story. It also tells the story behind each of the songs Garcia wrote or collaborated on and his relationships with the different instuments he mastered. It is easy to get lost in the book while reading it. The stories and history flow very well. Profusely Illustrated with Color Artwork and with B&W and Color photographs.
